Andrea Maluenda Amosson is Chilean and American, married, and mother of two children.
She lives in Texas since 2011.
She has resided in Serbia, Montenegro, Costa Rica and lived for a brief period of time in Ukraine, Hungary, and Spain.
She is a journalist from Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile; and has graduate studies in Hispanic-American and Chilean Literature from the University of Chile.
Andrea has won several awards for her literary work, most notably the International Latino Book Awards in 2017.
Fun fact: together with her husband, Andrea became a beekeeper in 2017.
